This role leads the team that partners with our Financial Services and Telecommunications business unitWe seek a world class Senior Finance Manager to provide end-to-end financial support to the business partners in AWS Industries. The successful candidate will help drive the growth of the organization by providing financial stewardship and analytical insights into key financial and operational performance metrics. They will be a strategic partner to the business and assist in evaluating operational processes, business opportunities, and support planning / forecasting.Their work will have exposure to the AWS CEO and CFO. The successful candidate must have a passion for detail and the ability to dive deep into the foundational building blocks of the AWS Business Development and Strategic Industries organization.Key job responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of Financial Analysts- Act as the CFO and key business partner to the senior business leaders for Financial Services and Telecommunications- Provide financial leadership, strategic guidance and support to the business team to deliver outstanding financial results- Possess the passion and demonstrated skills for developing relationships, processes and continuous improvement- 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience- Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages- MBA, or CPA- Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
