We are looking for Hardware Development Engineer to join a diverse group of software, network, and hardware engineers to design, deliver and operate our networking platforms for our data centers. The Software Developer on our team is responsible for re-defining the way we think about networking and infrastructure to enable our internal and external customers to continue to scale without limit on the largest, most reliable global infrastructure.We are looking for an innovative, self-motivated Hardware Developer with Ethernet networking experience in the areas of terabit switch fabrics, 10/40/100/400/800 gigabit interfaces, embedded CPU subsystems, and network processors. In this role the Hardware Engineer will be a hands-on technical lead responsible for reliability of AWS networking hardware in data centers. You will work with customers and partner teams to gather data, analyze, troubleshoot, root cause hardware and software issues. You will drive hardware and software changes that will directly improve user experience for millions of AWS customers. We cover everything from low level hardware to embedded software and systems that operate and monitor it. Operating at the scale we do, there is no blueprint for how to do what we do, which encourages our engineers to identify and develop simple solutions to complex problems.
