Job Description Design, procure, implement, and maintain all process control systems at the plant, 3 operating units. Develop and implement new DCS and PLC configurations for process control. Modify existing DCS and PLC configurations for process control. Edit DCS and PLC operating parameters when requested by operations personnel. Maintain control system equipment service agreements, schedule, and oversee service work. Design, procure, and implement process instrumentation projects. Develop construction packages and oversee construction activities for IEC projects. Provide equipment, labor, and construction information to other project engineering personnel. Maintain functionality of daily reports generated by the data historian and other systems. Maintain data and system backups and perform/oversee backup and recovery functions. Maintain a high level of documentation for all systems and provide training where appropriate. Monitor and maintain process controllers, communications, and I/O equipment. Monitor and maintain process control HMI displays and HIS stations. Work with operations to perform and document testing of emergency shutdown systems. Assist other personnel in the design, procurement, and installation of electrical equipment. Design, implement, and maintain various automated report servers and their resulting emailed process and environmental reports (Exaquantum, RPTSVR01). Monitor and maintain the commercial daily energy market report data report (Platts). Monitor and maintain site Emergency Personnel Accountability System (EP01). Monitor and maintain site Security Access Systems, aka badging systems: Keyscan, VSAxxes. Monitor and maintain site cameras, recording, and notification systems (NVR04/NVR05). Monitor and maintain site electronic message boards and video monitoring devices (approx. 25). Assist in maintenance of Weather Reporting and Historian System (Davis Instruments).
