The Amazon Security Special Programs Evaluations Assessments & Response (SPEAR) Team is seeking an experienced and talented physical security Evaluator to join the SPEAR Evaluations AMER-West team. This position is responsible for performing physical security evaluations of our data facilities in the AMER-West region. You will join a team of experienced and skilled specialists responsible for evaluating the application of physical security, including people, processes and measures. You will identify and document vulnerabilities and provide guidance on the path to resolution, and are responsible for all written reports related to the evaluations you conduct. You will participate in the development, analysis, and implementation of physical security standards and identify areas for improvement. As a SPEAR Evaluator, you partner and work directly with other AWS Physical Security Teams, AWS Management, and customers to aid in the real-world application of physical security to existing and new data facilities. This position will help the team scale the COMSEC program to deliver for and across U.S. Government customers. You will develop strategic goals, and use high judgement to design the right team structure, mechanisms, and strategy to meet goals. You will join a team of industry-leading security experts working with the U.S. Government to operate and continuously improve industry-leading security programs and processes in support of the mission. A successful candidate will have an established track record of supporting security programs within cleared facilities, demonstrable COMSEC program/project management experience, comprehensive networking knowledge, and a deep understanding of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense government security programs, processes, and requirements in the cloud service provider space. As a Privacy Specialist on the Kuiper team, you will play a crucial role in operationalizing privacy practices across Kuiper's diverse customer base.
