Location: NashvilleKey job responsibilities- Gather information for a shipment involved in a claim - Search internal tools such as Freight Management Console (FMC), Shipper Management Console (SMC), Paragon, etc. to gather information on the claim • Submit all information to the claims third party administrator • Answer emails from internal and external customers • Enter claims data into reports • Daily review of Open Claims Report and action all pending items • Complete Claims Frontloading Forms on all new claims • Excellent communication, both verbal and written• Work with team on exceeding KPIs• Other tasks as assigned for special projectsA day in the life• Review all new claims and determine items needed • Investigate the movement of the shipments involved in a claim• Review claim findings with leaders• Communicate findings to the claims third party administrator • Review reports and ensure accurate data • Respond to request for information from stakeholdersAbout the teamThis a new role for an established claims team. The team investigates claims for cargo and property damage for Amazon Freight External (AFE). The role is well defined with little ambiguity. We are a fast-growing organization within Amazon.
