Up to 25% travel required.Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, the TPM - Sustainable Power Technology will:(a) Manage the evaluation of new technology vendors for on-site hydrogen production and power generation for Amazon buildings and any other use cases.(b) Manage multiple development programs focused on integrating sustainable power technologies into Amazon’s operations through the lifecycle of the program including business case development, vendor selection, technical requirements gathering, design, permitting, construction, commissioning and launch.(c) Develop and own the roadmap for increasing safety, enhancing efficiency, and improving life/durability of existing hydrogen infrastructure in the network.(d) Lead creation and maintaining project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and progress reports.(e) Collaborate with the various vendors, EPC companies, certification agencies and construction managers to deliver deployments at Amazon buildings.(f) Establish KPIs for evaluating performance of sustainable power technologies and report to stakeholders on a regular basis.The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in the development and commissioning of hydrogen infrastructure for stationary applications, with a proven track record in product development, engineering and delivering innovative energy projects. The candidate will have hands-on experience in deployment of large-scale hydrogen or natural gas power generation systems.
