Amazon MGM Studios' Key Art Production Studio is looking for a hands-on Production Artist to be a part of our in-house finishing team. This role is vital to the success of our Key Art Production Studio as they will be responsible for art adaptations and building final digital assets / print mechanicals for studio campaigns. This role requires a subject matter expert well versed in print and digital file production, capable of producing final assets independently and across multiple disciplines.
Key job responsibilities
- Have proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator producing final art assets
- Accurately comprehend and adhere to material spec sheets
- Have an in-depth understanding of both RGB and CMYK color spaces
- Coordinate closely with the Group Lead Production Artist to understand the requirements for each project
- Work in a high volume department, under tight deadlines and provide accurate time assessments
- Work with leadership to develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures
- Adhere to internal best practice guidelines
A day in the life
This role will work closely with the team leadership and Key Art Producers, as well as Creative Directors and Art Directors to meet tight deadlines while ensuring the highest quality final assets and file organization.
About the team
Our Key Art Production team is a fast paced and growing team within Amazon MGM Studios Marketing. We are responsible for end to end production of static assets. Our In-House Key Art Production Studio is a vital part of our success having the ability to quickly turn around Finishing and Production requests from our stakeholders. This position will be a vital role on the team to ensure the quality of our final assets and the techniques being used meet or exceed our very high quality bar.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of creative services experience
- Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in film, media, production, marketing
- Experience in driving process and tool improvements
- Experience with high-volume, high-velocity, large-scale file management (workflow orchestration, file-movement, permission management, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $104,500/year in our highest geographic market.
