The Amazon Prime Video team is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. The Original Content group focuses on ensuring we invest in the most promising original content for our customers and invent and implement policies and procedures to protect the investment of Amazon in original content. We are seeking to fill a Production Finance asociate to be assist for LO in Chile Colombia and Argentina.

The right individual will have exceptional Finance skills and strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles, solid leadership skills and firm business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results.

He or she will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.

The candidate will need to able to collaborate with business partners across the globe and must display strong initiative for anticipating and meeting the business demands of senior-level business managers. The ideal candidate will understand the television and original production business and be able to liaise between the Amazon business teams and local producers. The position will be inside the LatAm Finance Production team and would be full dedicated to Chilean, Colombian and Argentinian production projects and their control.

Key job responsibilities
Support LatAm Production Finance team, providing weekly reports with updates on the production finance status, Payment plans, Funding, Postmortem analysis, and relevant information.
·Review production budgets, cost reports, trial balances and petty cash reconciliations prepared by show accountants
·Collaborate with Line Producers, Production Managers, Production Accounting Staff and the Amazon Production team to prepare all financial reports, ensure proper reconciliation of accounts, and ensure production's cash flow and payment needs are met
·Work closely and collaboratively with Amazon Studios’ teams including Legal, Tax, Business Affairs, Production, Finance and Accounting
·Manage production incentive workflow and ensure receipt of tax credits or cash. Manage cash flow and funding processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
1+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Spanish and English bilingual

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience MBA, or CPA
2+ years Production Finance Experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $135,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
