The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for Enterprise Service Managers (ESMs) that can manage working relationships with global organizations, develop a long term Professional Services strategy, and execute that strategy within our accounts. The ESM is a trusted advisor to our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of relationship development, business development, professional services sales, and project delivery oversight across their accounts.

Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, provide collective experience from across the AWS customer base, and are obsessed about driving success for our customers. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, get the right solution delivered, and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about:

  1. Engaging with customer executives to understand their business drivers and priorities
  2. Educating customers on AWS services and the business value they enable
  3. Inspiring customers to envision the art-of-the-possible with AWS
  4. Developing cloud adoption strategies for our customers that accelerate business outcomes
  5. Creating, identifying, growing demand for AWS Professional Services
  6. Leading innovation and scoping workshops with customers
  7. Shaping deals, including estimations, proposals, pricing, and business cases
  8. Creating, negotiating, and executing Statements of Work (SOWs)
  9. Identifying risks and mitigations related to opportunities and project delivery
  10. Overseeing project delivery to ensure results and customer satisfaction
  11. Acting as the single point of contact for customer executives; developing deep, trustful relationships
  12. Coaching customer and partner teams to be self-sufficient.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
