AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs, as part of AWS, is looking for a talented HW/SW Engineer, to support the development of a semiconductor platform based on revolutionary architecture.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  1. Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative products and services.
  2. Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
  3. Create solutions and models to run predictions in cloud environment, with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
  4. Build distributed data sources, index, and query systems that are scalable, and use these systems to optimize product’s quality, reliability and performance.
  5. Design and code appropriate solutions, starting with broadly defined problems.
  6. Work in a dynamic environment that will challenge your skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. BSc of Computer Science / Computer Engineering / SW Engineering / Electrical Engineering (Please include a grade sheet/academic transcript along with your CV in a single PDF when submitting your application.)
  2. Good Python skills
  3. Knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals such as Semi-Conductors, CMOS, Digital Circuits, Logic design

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Knowledge ML models and data science
  2. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud Computing
  3. Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
