Apple is seeking a highly competent Financial Analyst to support AppleCare Protection plans and Insurance entity. Analyst will be responsible for finance-related activities including strategy, metrics, investment criteria, and reporting relating to future product protection plan construct and the Insurance business. The successful candidate will develop future reporting & analytics for current and new AppleCare products and own the Insurance side of the AppleCare business. The analyst will develop a deep understanding of the Apple Insurance business, own all facets of the entity and prepare financials and performance deep dive to support the board meetings.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years proven experience in a fast-paced environment related to finance / accounting.
  • Great teammate with excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of clearly presenting complex analyses to a non-technical audience, including experience speaking publicly to leadership groups.
  • Excellent collaborator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial competence; FP&A experience, Advanced Excel, SAP, SQL a plus.
  • Ability to initiate, refine, and complete projects with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and see the ‘bigger picture’.
  • Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
  • Preparation of key revenue and cost forecasts and actuals.
  • Preparation of quarter end accounting entries necessary for accurately representing the business.
  • Effectively handle ambiguity and uncertainty.

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
  • The base pay range for this role is between $131,300.00 and $197,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
