Job Description

The AWS Migration Architect is responsible for designing and implementing migration strategies for moving systems, applications, and data to the AWS cloud. This role involves developing migration plans, leading the execution of migration projects, and ensuring alignment with the organization's cloud strategy and business objectives.

Senior AWS Connect Engineer with experience migrating large client environments to AWS Connect should have experience building custom desktop applications in AWS Connect, integrating AWS Connect to CRM Systems and Hosted Legacy Client Applications, experience integrating third party solutions to AWS Connect (e.g., WFO vendors, Reposting Solutions, PSTN Carriers, etc.), as well as building accelerators in the AWS Ecosystem to create and support Generative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cloud Migration Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive migration strategies for AWS, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and scalability requirements.
  2. Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end cloud architectures that support migration initiatives, optimizing for performance, cost, and security within AWS.
  3. Migration Planning and Execution: Plan, manage, and oversee the migration of workloads to AWS, including assessments, roadmap creation, and phased migration execution.
  4. Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and direction to project teams on AWS architecture and migration methodologies. Guide development teams on AWS best practices.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, understanding of AWS capabilities, and alignment of migration goals.
  6. Risk and Compliance Management: Identify and mitigate migration risks, ensuring that solutions meet AWS compliance and security standards. Implement necessary controls and governance processes for the cloud environment.
  7. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of AWS environments post-migration.
  8. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for migration plans, architectures, and operational procedures. Provide training to internal teams on AWS and cloud migration best practices.

Key Requirements Qualifications:

  1. Proven Expertise in AWS: Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS, with a strong understanding of AWS services and architecture patterns.
