Risk Manager II, Brand Escalation and Engagement Management

To continue building customer trust, the Selling Partner Abuse team works with merchants, brands, and customers to identify and prevent product abuse in areas such as copyright, trademark, and counterfeit for our customers worldwide.
We are looking for a Program Manager or Risk Manager to investigate complex incidents of suspected intellectual property infringement and product abuse. You will work closely with brands, sellers, and vendors and implement policies, tools, and technology innovations to protect customers and brands, to defend intellectual property, and to ensure compliance with Amazon policies.
In this role, you will partner with numerous teams at Amazon and interact with multiple core functionalities and systems of the worldwide Stores. You will communicate with Amazon (senior) leadership on complex investigations and improve the way Amazon protects customers from harm.
Key job responsibilities
- Perform holistic investigations of brand's abuse reports, deep dives on brand and selling partner experience, identification of escalation root causes.
- Communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Own and drive improvements to Amazon processes and tools resulting from deep dive findings in collaboration with partner teams.
About the team
Brand Escalation and Engagement Management (BEEM) is a worldwide team of Risk Managers experienced in the field of Brand Protection. We are an international and diverse team, collaborating closely while being located in different regions globally. We strive to identify, resolve, and prevent brand-targeted abuse from the worldwide Amazon Stores. We handle escalations coming from brands and their internal Amazon stakeholders. We conduct holistic investigations, perform root cause analysis of escalation drivers, and pursue initiatives across global program teams to prevent future incidents related to the same root cause gap. We engage with brands and their stakeholders to support us during our investigation and de-escalate when needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience handling confidential information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience.
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials.
- Experience with SQL and Excel.
