Executive Assistant, Amazon Workplace Health and Safety

The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Workplace Health and Safety team in Bellevue, Washington.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Manage complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations
  2. Manage domestic and international travel
  3. Manage expense report coordination and submission
  4. Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
  5. Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow up on outstanding matters as a liaison for direct reports
  6. Work closely with the leadership team, program managers, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
  7. Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
  2. High school or equivalent diploma
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  4. Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience leading process improvements
  2. Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
  3. Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
