Position Summary:

Support our data network and services including datacenters and AWS cloud network services, as well as wide area, metro area, and local area networks. The incumbent will manage operational reliability and performance of existing buildings and wide-area networks, quickly resolving any network service interruptions. As required by business changes, the role extends and enhances the company network and may involve implementing new configurations in AWS, data centers, or desktop environments. This position works as part of a Network Engineering group and may require travel outside of normal business hours. Participation in a 24x7 on-call support rotation is expected.

  • Interpret cabling plans and oversee installers to ensure standards are met, familiar with cabling and termination specifications, maintenance, and problem determination.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco VSS, routers, switches, Cisco wireless, Palo Alto Network FW, and Global Protect VPN.
  • Deploy and maintain Infoblox DDI.
  • Design and deploy network-related configurations in AWS.
  • At least 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN networks.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Infoblox NIOS-based DNS/DHCP/IPAM implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco VSS, routers, switches, and Cisco wireless.
  • Understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
  • Familiarity with access control models and network security.
  • Ability to plan, configure, and install Citrix NetScaler/ADC load balancing, redirect, and content switching configurations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
