SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Foreman/ Superintendent is responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality work and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Read and coordinate drawings associated with Architectural, Fire alarm, Mechanical, Structural, and electrical design.
- Manage, evaluate and train field team members.
- Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
- Follow up with request for information and submittals provided by other trades involving the electrical system.
- Create 2/3 weeks look ahead schedule for proper materials and manpower coordination to meet schedule.
- Remain in compliance with current and Local Electrical codes, life safety Codes, and OSHA safety compliances.
- Manage and lead multiple crews including quality control and inspections to ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
- Coordinate production and attend meetings with GC and other trades to identify and resolve any conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
- Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, Project manager during the progress of the project.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Must have 5-10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion dollar electrical construction projects.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have at least basic computer and writing skills.
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, supervision, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Must have an active journeyman electrician license.
- Applicant must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
