Join Amazon's Shipper Performance Coaching and Enablement team as a Shipper Performance Specialist and drive operational improvements for our key shipping partners. In this role, you'll focus on optimizing the performance of shippers within our WePay and PCP programs, ensuring a seamless experience for shipments to North American fulfillment centers. Your expertise in transportation, data analysis, and program management will be crucial in identifying root causes, developing targeted strategies, and coaching shippers to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.

Key job responsibilities
- Analyze shipping data to identify high-impact shippers and develop tailored improvement strategies
- Conduct comprehensive onboarding sessions for new shippers, providing guidance on policies and best practices
- Engage with top defect-driving shippers to collaboratively develop and implement action plans
- Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and eliminate root causes of shipping defects
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders, driving continuous improvement

A day in the life
As a Shipper Performance Specialist, you'll start your day by reviewing the latest shipping data to identify trends and opportunities. You might then lead an onboarding session for a new shipper, walking them through key processes and answering their questions. Later, you could find yourself deep-diving into a persistent defect issue, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop a solution. Your afternoon might involve a check-in call with a high-impact shipper to review their progress and offer additional coaching. You'll wrap up your day by preparing a weekly report summarizing key findings and recommendations for leadership review.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with SQL
- 2+ years work experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge
