We do not depend on third party monolithic HR systems. Our software products use Amazon Web Services to intelligently work through the complexity of country and role differences, and ensure new hires start successfully on Day 1 with delightful onboarding experiences. We enable all Amazon business' success to onboard new workers to meet dynamic business and market demands, e.g., over 100,000 new hires in the US and Canada in record speed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and country and region holiday and prime day retail lifecycle spikes. The Prestart Domain team is the core of the end to end Joining Amazon experience, responsible to handle 100% global hiring traffic from various recruiting sources. All subsequent onboarding and HR processes depend on the HR profiles and related data Prestart systems ingest into the HR system. It is core to the success of the Joining Amazon journey as well as employee journey. We are seeking experienced engineers with strong ownership. You will own and lead projects that impact new Amazonians around the globe. Amazon business’ success depends on your ability to innovate and enable Amazon workforce’s onboarding speed and success.
