Expanding Eastern U.S. Based Specialty Electronics (Hardware and Software) Electronic Control-Distribution Systems Software and Hardware.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience selling or supporting sales of highly technical products (ideally: control system type products that mix both Hardware and Software).
  • Experience in the Creation and Delivery of Sales Demonstrations, Proof of Concept Demonstrations or Similar Software Focused Sales Demonstrations including Power-Points, Screen-Shots and Real-Time Software Simulation Demonstrations.
  • Experience working in a Client Success, Pre-Sales or Sales-Support type role for a company that sells, integrates, builds OR designs SCADA or DCS or HMI or Process Control or similar Electronic Control Systems.
  • Experience making live or virtual presentations to external customers with a focus on addressing hot-buttons, problem areas and solving client problems.
  • Experience using a CRM or Sales-Contact-Pipeline System for logging, tracking and 'successing' your contacts, leads, prospects and sales-pipeline.
  • Very Computer Literate (Well Versed in MS Outlook, Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Google-Meet, etc.).
  • Should be willing to travel as needed (approximately 20% travel).
  • Education: BSEE or ASEE or Electronics Technology-Technician training or Military Electronics Training or similar experience or training.

Pluses:

  • PLC Systems Sales Experience: lead, prospecting, appointment setting, technical presentations.
  • Experience with PLC systems for the Utility Industry (Electrical, Natural Gas, Nuclear).
