POSITION SUMMARY: As an Infrastructure Engineer at Think|Stack, you will understand both the engineering and architecture of systems as well as the building and coding of those systems. Your primary duties will include triaging, reviewing, responding to, designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft cloud infrastructure solutions and client environments. You will ensure the stability of our clients' infrastructure through problem-solving, building, engineering, and creating infrastructure, either from the ground up or adapting existing setups. This role requires understanding the end goals of projects and identifying patterns across networks and alerts.
This individual knows when something is not configured correctly and uses industry knowledge to suggest and implement best practices. When faced with challenges, they have the experience to ask the right questions and complete tasks effectively. This position is responsible for ensuring thorough construction and support of enterprise networks.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy AWS cloud or Microsoft infrastructure.
- Complete migrations and implementation of various Microsoft services, including Azure, 365 suite (Intune, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, AzureAD).
- Execute code builds, deployments, automate testing, and continuously seek better and more secure methods.
- Provide expert technical assistance to customers and internal escalation, including support, configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting various systems, hardware, and software.
- Promote and maintain exemplary customer service for all clients and internal staff.
- Implement infrastructure solutions that enhance the stability and resiliency of physical and cloud footprints.
- Utilize Terraform/Python to script and manage infrastructure.
- Create and execute detailed project plans, implementing projects according to the charter, project plan, and WBS.
- Harden the configuration of devices and networks using best practices with minimal disruption.
- Take initiative to determine system functionalities and how changes in conditions will affect outcomes.
- Report unresolved infrastructure exposures and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes.
- Document all technical service request information from beginning to end, including knowledge bases and project documentation.
- Develop professionally through education, certification, and mentorship programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Associate degree in Technology, IT Engineering, or equivalent experience and certifications.
- 3+ years of engineering experience.
- 2+ years of Microsoft experience.
- Experience with 2-3 technology products or services at a subject matter expert level (e.g., O365 Suite, AWS, Python, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
- Ability to correlate information and data between clients and alerts.
- Highly organized, managing multi-step projects over varying time scales.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical clients and team members.
