Job Description

For immediate job opening, we are looking for an Associate Principal Scientist for our Analytical R&D department. The potential employee will be involved in analytical method development for small molecule drug substances, method validation, method verification, in-process and finished products of oral solid dosage forms, using various analytical techniques.

The candidate will perform the following duties:

  1. Carry out method development and method validation of small molecules.
  2. Stability, assay and biorelevant dissolution testing of in-process and finished products.
  3. Reverse engineering.
  4. Carry out routine and non-routine tests on API, excipients, in-process and finished products.
  5. Interact with and support formulation development scientists with analytical data.
  6. Particle size analysis of APIs.
  7. Maintain appropriate documentation of analytical testing including protocols, specifications, reports, and SOPs.
  8. Maintain inventory of API-related materials.
  9. Work closely with and guide junior-level scientists.
  10. Maintain balance, pH meter, dissolution apparatus, HPLC, LCMS, and similar equipment.
  11. Follow instructions from management.
