Senior Micro Segmentation Network Security Engineer
MUST be local to Iselin, NJ. Travel to NY will be required.
Hybrid Schedule: At least 2 days a week onsite.
Salary Range: $140k to $170k

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise Micro Segmentation platform as part of a Zero Trust Security framework. Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, application-centric segmentation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership : Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and support micro-segmentation solutions.
- Policy Management : Streamline and automate access control policies; review and enhance firewall and segmentation rules.
- Platform Oversight : Manage platform capacity and integration with tools like Active Directory, OpenShift, and ServiceNow.
- Incident Response : Support escalated incidents and ensure system resilience.
- Documentation : Develop and maintain detailed procedures and system diagrams.
- On-Call : Participate in a 24/7 rotation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in mission-critical network support; hands-on experience with Micro Segmentation platforms (e.g., Zero Networks, Illumio, Tetration).
- Proficiency with perimeter firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Windows/Linux administration and basic scripting/automation skills.
- Cisco ISE and Meraki experience.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
