Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Project Kuiper is seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our dynamic Kuiper Marketing Team. This role will support the Sr Global Events Marketing Manager in executing Project Kuiper's global event strategy and calendar. The Event Manager will be responsible for the tactical planning and implementation of various events, ranging from industry conferences to internal communication events and rocket launches.

Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Sr Global Events Marketing Manager to implement the event strategy and execution plan, focusing on tactical elements and day-to-day management of event projects.

• Manage the logistics and coordination of assigned events, including venue selection, vendor management, budget tracking, and on-site execution.

• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of progress.

• Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements and ensure events meet the needs of various business units.

• Coordinate with the Brand & Creative Team to develop and produce event assets, ensuring consistency with Project Kuiper's brand guidelines.

• Manage vendor relationships for assigned events, including negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.

• Contribute to the development of post-event reports, collecting metrics and feedback to inform future event improvements.

• Travel 25% of time to event locations as needed to oversee site visits, on-site event execution, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of event processes and best practices within the team.


Export Control Requirements: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience managing budgets

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
