This role will work closely with business and finance stakeholders within the Partner Organization. We're seeking a finance manager to join a rapidly growing AWS organization. The role will support the Strategic Partner Collaboration & Governance (SPCG) team.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities to influence AWS stakeholders to progress decision making through their personal involvement in deal shaping and approval. They are self-starter who enjoy solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional counterparts and thrives in fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. Proving you have high judgement, strong capabilities to earn trust, think big, and are comfortable working in ambiguous, highly-visible situations is critical for this position.

The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing the models, tools and mechanisms necessary to address business opportunities, drive automation, improve internal controls, and earn trust across Worldwide Partner Organization.

Key job responsibilities
• Engage with the business to evaluate and review complex deals and compelling proposals to best address outcomes of our strategic collaboration agreements.
• Ensure investments meet compliance regulations and profitability guidelines
• Act as trusted advisor and thought leader in the development of commercial strategy and deals structuring.
• Assess deals patterns to understand the competitive landscape and identify insights for future deal structures.
• Support planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for APO headcount, opex, contra revenue and working capital




- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent

- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
