Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Cloud Transformation Experience Designer to join our Professional Services (ProServe) team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of helping our enterprise customers accelerate their cloud transformation journey using design thinking methodologies and cutting-edge AWS technologies, including Generative AI.

As a Senior Cloud Transformation Experience Designer, you will work directly with customers to reimagine their business processes and create alignment on current and future state solutions. You will leverage your expertise in human-centered design and deep understanding of AWS capabilities to drive innovative transformations that deliver significant business value.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business challenges and objectives, using design thinking and "working backwards" methodologies to create alignment on transformation goals.
- Lead customer workshops and brainstorming sessions to identify needs, map user journeys, and develop product/service blueprints that accelerate cloud adoption and business transformation.
- Utilize your expertise in UX design, information architecture, and AWS cloud technologies to create innovative solutions that address customer pain points and unlock new business opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including business advisors, engagement managers, and technical cloud experts, to design and implement holistic, end-to-end experiences that drive customer success on the AWS platform.
- Leverage Generative AI and other cutting-edge AWS technologies to find new and innovative ways to transform customer businesses, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
- Develop and present compelling visualizations, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the value of proposed solutions to senior customer stakeholders.
- Continuously seek and incorporate customer feedback to drive iterative improvements and influence AWS product roadmaps.
- Advocate for customer needs and preferences throughout the transformation process, ensuring solutions are user-centric and aligned with business objectives.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to facilitate workshops, present solutions, and drive on-site transformation initiatives.

About the team
The purpose of the Day 1 Delivery team (D1D) is to ensure the successful and high-quality delivery of ProServe services to our customers. D1D is accountable for crafting and upholding the global delivery framework, which establishes standards, ensures a consistent delivery experience, and provides a unified approach for evaluating delivery across our ~2,501 engagements. Additionally, the team is constructing a Quality Management Framework to enhance visibility and risk management across the entire process, from sales to delivery to transition and support.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

- 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
- 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
- 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
- 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience

- * 7+ years of experience in UX design, experience design, or similar roles, with a focus on enterprise-level transformations
- * Strong understanding of AWS cloud technologies and their potential business applications
- * Expertise in design thinking methodologies and their application to business transformation
- * Proven track record of leading complex, customer-facing projects and driving tangible business outcomes
- * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
