The ECAD Librarian will support all projects in development at Apple and will chip in to the evolution of the design process and tools as our organization continues to grow and will be part of testing and evaluating new tools or tools features. The Primary Responsibilities of the CAD Librarian include, •Developing and maintaining the ECAD library which involves creation of 3D models, PCB and logical symbols and handling ECAD data in Perforce, Team Center, Calypso and PLM system.•Providing ongoing ECAD library support.•Acquiring a good understanding of and enforcing current ECAD standards and Design for Manufacturing guidelines while chipping in to improving current design process. •Supporting schematic development by debugging netlist issues •Supporting designs for simulation by working in collaboration with Electrical and Component Engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of working knowledge of Cadence Schematic Capture, Allegro PCB Board Design, Symbol Editor, CAD Libraries, or Mechanical Drafting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
- • Python or Perl Scripting experience is a strong plus!
- • EE, as well as Mechanical background, is preferred
- • Experience in 3D modeling and basic drafting skills is preferred.
