The last mile Routing and Planning team is at the heart of our growing logistics network at Amazon. We’re challenged to constantly improve and innovate on our vehicle routing software and tools to better support fast delivery to customers. We have among the most complex vehicle routing problems in the industry, including large, capacitive, commingled, and time windowed routing problems. We dispatch thousands of drivers a day to carry millions of packages to our customers.

The last mile routing and planning team is looking for a customer-obsessed, detail oriented Principal Product Manager with a strong track record of delivering results and proven product management experience to own and execute on transformational projects for how we containerize and route packages within last mile. The role will define the roadmap for transforming the interactions between containerization and routing.

The Role: You are results oriented and have thrived and succeeded in launching new products and businesses under tight deadlines. In addition to product management and technical skills, the role requires a strong customer and operational focus. You will need to constantly look for optimization areas, work with science and tech on implementing the roadmap, track progress and define how we scale; Ability to influence, analytical ability, strong tracking/monitoring capabilities, exceptional communication skills and leadership are essential to success in this role.

The pay-off is high ownership, an ability to deliver results, execute launches with high quality and raise the bar for how we expand our speed programs. You will interact closely with the business team, the technology team, and the supply chain/operations team to identify/manage critical projects.



- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
