What will you do?
As the Principal Program Manager- you will own and develop programs and services in collaboration with internal technical, business, and operations teams. This role is focused on specific segments within Amazon Transportation Systems, responsible for identifying and building capabilities that improve the quality of our network and lead to gains in efficiency, speed, and cost.

The ideal candidate has a strong logistics/supply chain and program management background combined with a solid understanding of current technologies. S/he can develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives and can also roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, ability to influence cross-functional and remote teams, a customer-centric and creative mindset and strong analytical skills are essential. This opportunity requires excellent program management, prioritization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity.

- Experience in logistics, supply chain or equivalent professional experience
- Program or project management experience
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Have the ability to collaborate and lead in a flexible, detail-oriented, fast-paced team environment in a changing and growing organization
- Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as internal and external executive stakeholders

- Project Management Certification (PMP)
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery

The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market.
