Apple’s Software Program team is looking for a motivated Project Manager to drive forward security engineering initiatives. Security is at the heart of each of the products that Apple ships and gives our customers confidence when using their devices. We are searching for an individual with strong communication and project management skills. You will work with and influence colleagues across Apple to implement new features and ensure security continues to be at the forefront of our software. You will join a team of project managers committed to and passionate about driving forward our security technologies. Description

In this role, you will collaborate with Security Engineering teams and cross-functional partners to define, plan, prioritize, and track initiatives that strengthen the security posture of our products and platforms. As the central point of coordination, you will drive alignment across Security, Software, Hardware, Design, and other teams to deliver innovative and robust security solutions across our ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring security is seamlessly integrated into the development lifecycle and in delivering technologies that protect users and data across all our operating systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years as a Project or Program Manager managing complex, multi-functional projects
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in project management

  • Experience in security-focused project management or software engineering project management, ideally within a large-scale, cross-functional organization.
  • Strong technical expertise in operating systems, with the ability to distill complex problems into clear, actionable insights tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across large, matrixed organizations.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and an intellectually curious approach to challenges.
  • Experience in designing and executing effective processes with attention to detail and a highly organized mindset.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
