The TFT panel design team is responsible for delivering the advanced TFT panel designs and technologies to enable the world’s best display performance in Apple Products. Individual will serve as a focal point in architecting and developing the total TFT pixel and panel designs. This includes display panel modeling, simulation, integrated circuit-on-glass design, panel architecture, and whole panel function simulation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience, in-depth technical knowledge, and proven track record in the design and development for display (OLED, LCD) or related electronics.
  • Ability to perform circuit layout, parasitic RC extraction, circuit modeling and SPICE simulation
  • Understanding the basic TFT and panel process

  • Ph.D. degree or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field plus 3 years of TFT or related industry experience
  • Experience in display touch
  • Experience in measuring and characterizing IV and CV of TFT devices
  • Experience in developing, designing and manufacturing high volume display
  • Experience in characterizing panel optical and electrical performance
  • Experience in gate, column driver IC and other display electronics designs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
