The individual will focus on Supply / Demand analytics to ensure the right supply is in the right place at the right time. Primary responsibility is planning and fulfillment to meet product demand at over 300 of America’s Apple Retail Stores. Actively lead and maintain replenishment to stores using systems, reporting tools, and metrics. Provide the highest level of customer service and responsiveness to store requests and collaborate with key internal partners to ensure fulfillment of product demand.

Description

The Supply Planner (Inventory Planning/Store Replenishment) actively works with cross-functional partners and sources of supply to ensure timely fulfillment of retail product demand. Manage replenishment systems to ensure accurate product replenishment by SKU/store for assigned products. Manage overall inventory to ensure optimal levels while supporting number of turns and higher ranking customer levels. Manages in stock exceptions daily; react as needed to ensure product fulfillment to storefronts. Researches and expedites orders when appropriate. Work closely with regional and internal Logistics partners to optimize freight expense and expedite requests. Manages inventory levels during product transitions to minimize excess inventory and consumer impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA, Masters Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desired.

  • You will forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through. Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple’s financial objectives. Evaluate risks. Plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate.
  • ou'll analyze product sales and find opportunities to drive partner groups to appropriate action.
  • You will partner closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements. Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions.
  • You will collaborate with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensure raw material inventory targets are achieved, and minimize material obsolescence during product transition.
  • Present product updates and recommended actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion.
  • Less than 10% required travel.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,400 and $188,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
