In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with stakeholders in product, engineering, program management, logistics, business intelligence, and go-to-market to support the successful launch of new Ring consumer products, features, and services.

As a Insights Product Analyst I, you will be the critical link between our products and customers. You'll engage directly with testers in alpha, beta, and delta testing programs, reviewing and analyzing their feedback to identify key trends and issues. Your quantitative analysis and detailed reports will inform product improvements and drive engineering priorities. You'll also proactively communicate with testers to encourage participation, survey responses, and feature usage throughout each testing cycle.

We're looking for someone passionate about creating the best possible customer experience. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment and won't hesitate to take ownership and push solutions to issues. Strong understanding of technical systems and hardware are a must, as is the capacity to synthesize qualitative feedback and spot patterns in unstructured complex data. Your impeccable writing skills will allow you to tell stories through anecdotes and data to get the alignment and agreement. Previous experience troubleshooting consumer electronics or software is preferred.

Key job responsibilities
* Provide technical, product, and program support in multiple alpha, beta, and delta programs.
* Manage tester feedback through various channels, including our testing platform, email, and direct message.
* Conduct comprehensive investigations into reported issues by request of Program, Product, and Engineering Teams.
* Execute operational tasks for testing programs, including data entry, management, and organization.
* Manage escalated issues by tracking and gathering required data for engineering to root cause and resolve.
* Conduct triaging and testing of products in development to identify functional and user experience friction.
* Engage testers to drive additional feedback, survey responses, activity completion, and positive experience.
* Identify, aggregate, and report on product trends discovered within the testing programs.
* Write quantitative and qualitative reports on product opportunities for various stakeholder groups.
* Proactively identify and solution for opportunities to improve team efficiency, scalability, and business value.
* Use querying skills to identify and assess diverse metrics for conducting analysis and creating rich reports.

A typical day for a Insights Product Analyst involves closely monitoring product testing programs, managing participant feedback and issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems, and driving data-driven insights to inform product improvements. They start by reviewing the current status of testing platforms, then shift to responding to participant inquiries, updating task lists, and preparing for stakeholder meetings to discuss progress and plan next steps. Throughout the day, the analyst maintains a keen focus on meeting SLAs, encouraging high survey participation, and proactively troubleshooting to ensure a smooth testing experience and the delivery of actionable customer insights.

Ring Insights & Research Team guarantee our testing participants receive exceptional support while validating products, features, and services from Ring. We act as the voice of participants during execution of a Program, from start to finish; and are the last line of defense to ensure a product, feature, or service is ready for launch. Analysts are ambassadors for the product and most importantly our customers.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- 1+ years of cross-functional product development and/or other relevant technical experience

- Experience in quality, testing software, hardware or Beta products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market.
