As a Principal TPM at Ring, you will work closely with our different teams – Hardware, Firmware, Backend, App, and more - to plan and coordinate the execution and launch of product lines, while simultaneously keeping your team focused on meeting commitments. You must be capable of sorting through priorities, diving deep into details, defining processes that improve execution, championing engineering best practices, executing with agility, and succeeding in a complex environment. You will manage all system software aspects and cross-functional dependencies of product development and launch. Key job responsibilities
• Interact with Project Sponsors, Technical Program Managers and multiple Development Teams to define and deliver complex features.
• Lead the effective and efficient delivery of the large, complex projects.
• Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization. Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
• Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering).
- 5+ years of experience with software development (SDLC) for embedded Linux platform.
- 5+ years of experience with software development using RTOS.
- 5+ year of experience with defining projects, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, and scheduling and deploying new feature sets.

- Knowledge of computer architecture concepts (memory, microprocessors, microcontrollers, sensors, ARM-based platforms, DSP).
- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience.
- Familiarity with video streaming protocols (RTSP, WebRTC, HTTP, SIP) .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
