The primary objective is to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the global fleet of AWS Rack Power products. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience specifically in power electronics, designing, testing, and debugging power electronics such as AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC power conversion, switching power supplies, driver circuits, and battery systems
• HW Lab experience: setting up prototypes, developing tests and running tests as well as experience developing tests and automating their execution with one or more programming/scripting languages.
• Deep understanding of different power electronics circuit topologies as well as experience designing or testing products for safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Experience with technologies such as: power optimization, board design, thermal, mechanical, BIOS, BMC, signal integrity, networking as well as working with overseas CM/OEM/ODM vendors in product development
• Ability to apply critical thinking in complex situations; experience working in cross functional groups including mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, test, reliability, and failure analysis.
• Experience with data center power distribution to server racks and within server racks as well as gathering requirements and developing server specifications and a demonstrated ability to engage technology developers in the industry to track and apply emerging technologies to innovative server designs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
