Amazon is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Dispute Resolution Lead to help our expanding Amazon Transportation Services network. The Accounts Payable Dispute Resolution Lead will work as part of a team responsible for mediating payment disputes and resolving payment-related problems for our growing carrier partner base. Responsibilities of this role include payments and email escalation research, communicating with internal and external partners, dispute carrier office hours, SOP and standard work management, daily audits, and helping with other payment-related initiatives. This job will require problem solving, basic mathematics, communication, and customer service skills while having the ability to work independently in an often ambiguous work environment. Passion and drive for customers is a must.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage Case and Email Escalations that require further deep diving or unique procedural and policy handling.
• SOP and Standard Work Management
• Daily Audits and Appeals Management for dispute cases.
• Responsible for departmental continuous training plan for Dispute Specialist.
• Collaborate directly with our Amazon Transportation carriers and with members of cross functioning departments.
• Flexibility to change as per the changing requirements of the business
• Supporting ad-hoc requests as needed
• Helping the team with other payment related initiatives given the opportunity
• Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve payments and ensure customer promise
• Resolve payment dispute cases for up to 50% of the work schedule, based on business needs.

- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements

- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of management experience
- Experience with SQL
