The AWS Security Assurance Service team, within GSS, is seeking a talented Engagement Manager to lead internal AWS, external partner, and customer teams and educate our customers on how our product-led, people-powered services helps operate their business securely on AWS while also demonstrating assurance that compliance objectives can be achieved. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute at the intersection of cloud, cyber security, and compliance. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple lines of business, and learn from (and contribute to) a variety of security and compliance use cases. This is a customer facing role where success is measured by helping customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate their journey to AWS.

- 3+ years experience leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.
- 3+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders (up to and including CxO).
- Customer facing experience, interfacing with executive stakeholders, and leading delivery for large transformation programs
- Demonstrated experience leveraging project management and agile methodologies on enterprise level engagements and the ability to apply them across large, complex projects.
- Bachelor's Degree, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.


- MBA or Master's degree in a management, technical or engineering field.
- Expertise in project management and agile best practices across large and complex engagements; active project management certification.
- Managed technical projects consisting of 8 or more people totaling over $1,000,000 budget and presented to C-level executives and/or senior leadership teams
- Experience in cloud transformation programs and initiatives.
- Understanding of technology principles and services including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms, and consumer-facing technology.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
