The Sr. Program Manager, ORS is an omni-purpose role that is cross-functionally strategic, analytical, and influential. The scope of impact across the Americas (including LATAM!), directly supporting an organization of 100+ team members. This position requires a tenacious program manager with the ability to influence functional stakeholders from within Legal, HR, DSP and ORS. They serve as the tactical and strategic partner to the ORS team, in terms of the Delivery Serve Provider Delivery Associate (DA) hiring journey and candidate experience.

The incumbent of this role is instrumental in driving org level business operations initiatives, cadences, and mechanisms, as it pertains to conversion initiatives for On-Road Staffing teams. The role is responsible for operationally prioritizing, tracking/management for the above strategic partners while driving the team’s vision, and adoption cross-functionally. In addition, they are responsible for anticipating future business needs, aligning goals to the need, and managing these initiatives through completion. They will own team metrics, while delivering regular progress reports on to senior leaders, impacting high impact goals, requiring navigating in ambiguous environments. The scope of this role spans the demand for strategic planning, inputs from large customer segments, such as, and (Legal, PPT, HR, DSP and ORS) requiring tradeoff decision making for resources, impacting team roadmaps.

They will build, define, identify, and execute on projects that reduce DSP cognitive load while simultaneously improving funnel conversion. They will identify and solve for global opportunities by creating effective partnerships with other DSP Experience teams across Amazon, sharing best practices, enabling and evolving a way to identify continuous improvement for ORS.

This role directly impacts VP level goals and requires broad analytical skills, program management, continuous improvement and an ability to be successful in a matrixed organization. The successful individual has a proven work ethic to deliver desired results, outstanding communication skills, and drives towards simple, scalable solutions to solve challenging and complex problems. The Program Manager manages unique and complex deliverables, and tactically quick-turn projects while demonstrating exceptional business judgement while constantly innovating and improving business operational deliverables and artifacts, suggesting new ideas and best practices to iterate and improve the business with a frugal and think big approach. This role is responsible for diving deep into processes, understanding current capabilities and limitations, and making critical judgement decisions about how to handle stakeholder requests. They think long-term and are willing to sacrifice short-term gains for the bigger picture.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
- Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
- Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
- Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
- Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
- Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
- Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
- Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Data analysis; ability to assign measurement of success, running queries

- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience of Six Sigma/Lean analytical techniques
- Knowledge of SQL
- Concept to launch programs on large scale (across the US or Globally)
- Create and launch On-boarding/New hire programs is nice to have but not a requirement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
