We are looking for an expert technology attorney to join Apple’s Wallet and Payments legal team, with a primary focus on product counseling, but also on other commercial, consumer, and legal matters.

Description

You will be responsible for advising and providing support to the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team on a wide range of issues related to offering consumer products and other services through digital wallets, including transit passes, tickets and keys. Key Responsibilities:1. Deep understanding of laws, regulations and industry standards that apply to services provided by Apple and its partners.2. Serve as a product counsel and advise business and product teams on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to digital wallets.3. Advise on legal aspects of Apple’s relationships with third parties.4. Advise on contract structure and commercial terms for Apple’s partners and customers.You will be part of a close-knit local team and a global team spanning across the US, Europe, Asia and around the world.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant legal experience
  • Significant experience advising on digital wallets and other technology product-related issues as well as negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements for technology transactions
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards applicable to technology transactions
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
