The Financial Analyst position supports the video ads program, one of Amazon’s most visible and fastest growing initiatives. A successful candidate will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to create the tools, reporting, and analytics necessary to assess the pricing performance of our video ad products. Additional responsibilities include supporting the needs of sales teams via pricing exceptions, creating advertiser and agency facing rate cards, and creating and monitoring promotional offerings to help match demand with supply.

Key job responsibilities
• Reports to the Finance Manager, Ad Pricing & Yield partnering with product and sales managers across amazon Video Ad products.
• Supports rate card creation and rate database maintenance, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Supports reporting needs of the business from a pricing and yield perspective
• Inventory analysis across ad publishers to inform pricing and discounting decisions
• Close partnership with ad operations teams to support campaign launch and management from a pricing and monetization perspective


About the team
The Financial Analyst - Ads Pricing & Yield position sits within the Ad Sales Finance organization. This role specifically supports the Video Ads portfolio and reports to the Manager, Ad Sales Finance - Pricing & Yield.

- 1+ years of finance experience
- 1+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
