As an Instock Program Manager within Amazon Fresh Grocery, you'll take on a critical role at the forefront of developing business processes and programs to oversee the inventory management of selection sourced through WFM (Whole Foods Market). Leading cross-functional initiatives will be second nature as you drive improvements for both upstream partners (suppliers and category managers) and downstream partners (stores and execution teams).
To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable using data to influence others and building scalable systems and processes to allow our business to grow. In joining this team, you will have the opportunity to both build and operate in an ambiguous fast-paced environment and will drive initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and process improvement within retail and operations.

This role demands a high capacity to learn and be curious as we need to be constantly adapting to changes in our business and thinking about how we can bridge ambiguous business problems to actionable reporting and metrics. This also involves being up to speed with relevant tools and systems to help enable rapid iteration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally and innovate alongside talented Business Intelligence Engineers, Instock Managers, Operations and Category Program Managers, Product Managers, and Functional Leads.

Key job responsibilities
• Translate business problem statements into reports that answer customer questions
• Enable effective decision making by building processes, owning SOPs, and establishing standardized and programmatic solutions to operational challenges within the instock community
• Learn new technology and techniques to support the innovation of processes + resources of the WFM sourcing channel
• Have in-depth knowledge of the data available and how to collect it;
• Utilize industry standard data-manipulation tools and cross-check data to determine accuracy
• Share data with stakeholders to inform business decisions
• Manage expectations; prioritize own workload and communicate status

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a Supply Chain
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights and
- 2+ years of extensive excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) or tableau / dashboard experience or
- 2+ years of program management, product management, or analytics experience


- Strong proficiency in business intelligence, including creation of complex queries using SQL, statistical analysis, validation of data sets, and distillation of data into actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and building out a suite of reporting
- Experienced in making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Familiarity with leading large scale process ideation through implementation to solve technical or data driven challenges.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market.
