Sr. Financial Analyst, Advertising Creative, Trust and Support (ACTS)
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support Advertising Creative, Trust and Support (ACTS) Financial Planning and Analysis. The successful candidate will have financial reporting experience, an operationally focused mindset and is interested in working in a fast paced, global organization. This role is expected to drive process excellence, innovation and deliver valuable business insights. Additionally, this role requires regular interaction with leadership across the ACTS and Advertising Finance FP&A organization and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.Key job responsibilities- Own and be the expert in all financial tools used to produce reports for corporate or business partners within the organization- Partner with various ACTS finance teams to consolidate the annual budget, quarterly guidance, and productivity reviews- Act as the controller of all financial information and ensure financials are submitted accurately and timely- Drive improvements and automation to simplify financial processes - Create, improve and provide comments on financial metrics and reports- Facilitate financial review meetings with Business and Finance stakeholders to support decision makingAbout the teamAmazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and DSP solutions. This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon.- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience- 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience- MBA, or CPA- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
