This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.  

Organization & Team Overview  

Xfinity’s Consumer Products Services is critical to the future success of Comcast, connecting customers to what matters most .  The industry is rapidly evolving and we are developing innovative products to respond to customer connectivity needs and new competitive threats .  The Consumer Products Services team is at the forefront of identifying and developing the strategies for these new products .    

 

Role Description  

This summer intern role will help lead the identification of the most important pillars for investment and play a critical role in the development of the product strategies within these pillars. This individual will work with our Internet, Mobile and Entertainment product management leads and cross-functionally across the entire organization to develop differentiated product strategies and roadmaps, which will enable us to grow both connects and revenue per customer. Among other duties, this individual will help be responsible for customer insights, product ideation, competitive analysis, business case development, feasibility assessments and go -to-market approaches .  Excellent opportunity for a passionate, analytical & collaborative problem-solver wanting to make an impact on future consumer products.  

Job Responsibilities  

R esponsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Play a critical role in the development of the long-term product vision to grow our core businesses  

  • Define new product strategies to differentiate our residential products and continue to drive subscriber and profitable growth  

  • Research and identify emerging business models that could be used to accelerate our growth  

  • Work collaboratively with the organization to develop product strategies including technical options/benefits, consumer value propositions, go-to-market, business case and competitive response, translating strategies into product roadmaps for delivery  

  • Drive customer-centric thinking and best practices into these strategies and ensuring we're applying the right level of strategic rigor in decision making  

  • Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s ) and overtime as necessary.  

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements  

  • Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from a United States-based college or university  

  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship  

  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program - June 2 through August 15, 2025  

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs  

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation

Base Pay: $45.00
