Description

Networking group is looking for a passionate software quality engineer to join our group to develop and automate tests and work on performance characterization tests. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer who has the skills to debug complex and layered software stacks. You will be self-motivated and will design and develop analysis and visualization software tools to improvise screening process efficiency. You will collaborate with multiple teams thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS IN Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong programming skills with Python, C/C++
  • You will have experience developing scripts and tools
  • You have an ability to work with multi-functional engineering teams

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • You will have experience developing scripts and tools
  • Experience debugging problems in a highly concurrent environment
  • Familiarity with the TCP/IP suite of protocols
  • You have familiarity with network configuration protocols (e.g. DNS, DHCP, Bonjour, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You have a track record of shipping high quality products
  • You have an ability to stay focused and prioritize a heavy workload while achieving extraordinary quality Experience with system performance characterization a plus.
  • You are innovative, flexible, and results oriented with a positive attitude

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
