As a triage engineer, you’ll be at the center of it all: identifying software bug trends, quickly assessing severity and priority of bug reports, and assigning them to the correct engineering teams both near and far to deliver the best user experience to our customers. You’ll work closely with the Core Bluetooth engineering team, cross-functional engineering teams within Apple, as well as external partners, to identify and resolve software issues. Description
In this role, you will tackle a constantly evolving and expanding set of problems, identifying their priority and assessing their severity while working closely with the Software Engineering team to drive resolutions and contribute to the delivery of new features for the next generation of Bluetooth products. You'll also be responsible for identifying emerging issues from bug reports submitted by Apple employees and external developers, following up with reporters to gather critical information to support the team in debugging. Leverage data sources and machine learning models from across Apple to develop tools that enhance our team's triage efficiency and accuracy, ensuring that the most critical issues are prioritized and addressed first.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- C, C++, Objective-C, Python and/or other automation language experience
- Experience with Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi - Bluetooth Coexistence

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
