We are seeking an experienced Sr. GTM Strategy & Ops to streamline the way we bring diverse and powerful products to market. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate with product, sales, product marketing, and training orgs to understand existing roles and processes, review customer comprehension metrics, identify top areas of opportunity and transform a data platform to create a single source of truth for GTM. You’ll define a vision for what great go-to-market (GTM) looks like, identifying gaps (e.g., orchestration, structure), moving a highly matrixed org towards a unified vision. Your plan will instill centrally defined GTM process, roles and responsibilities, definitions, and accountability . Your GTM strategy will delight a broad range of customers ranging from large Enterprise to SMBs domestically and abroad.

You’ll author documents to outline your strategy, drive adoption of your GTM approaches and templates, and partner with cross functional leaders to use your frameworks to present GTM plans for top solutions to the Head of Ads. The ideal candidate will have experience in advertising in a strategic capacity and will have held a similar role at a peer company.

Key job responsibilities
* Oversee GTM specific workstreams across Ads, uniting product, sales, product marketing, and training efforts in service of maximizing customer comprehension and product adoption.
* Help define a vision for what great GTM looks like, identifying gaps (e.g., orchestration, structure), and creating a plan to delight customers, moving a highly matrixed org towards a unified vision
* Codify and gain alignment on roles and responsibilities and GTM commitments across orgs and clarify areas of confusion.
* Understand advertiser needs and trade-offs and architect how the full breadth of Amazon Ads launches from marquee solutions to minor features come together as a simple and compelling experience for customers.
* Facilitate challenging conversations between orgs to align on the optimal internal and external GTM experience.
* Identify top areas of opportunity to simplify GTM efforts, diagnosing root causes, outlining and aligning with key stakeholders on a path to resolution, and creating and implementing inspection mechanisms.
* Continually refine and drive adoption of GTM templates and approaches and partner with cross functional leaders to use your frameworks to present GTM plans for top solutions to Ads leaders.
* Help define how GTM processes, templates, KPIs, and data will translate into automated tooling and reporting that enables scalable application across Ads worldwide.
* Define KPIs and establish mechanisms to inspect results; continually refine GTM practices across distinct product, sales, and marketing organizations, providing regular leadership progress updates.

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
