We are seeking an experienced policy manager to own strategy and implementation of Creators’ policies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining policies that protect associates and influencers, Amazon's brand, and end-customers. You will be a trusted advisor to our operations, business, and legal teams on high-visibility escalations. You will partner with our operations and global Creators teams to calibrate and implement new policies, prioritize new initiatives, and ensure delivery against internal goals.
Key job responsibilities
• Contribute to the strategy, evaluation, and maintenance of Amazon’s Global Creator Operating Agreement and Program Policies. Partner with legal and global Creators teams to gain consensus on policies and improvements.
• Own fast-paced policy research by monitoring industry trends and risk areas; draft and present thoughtful policy proposals to senior leaders.
• Determine and implement effective operations solutions, understanding technical limitations and contributing to roadmap prioritization of the same
• Support highly sensitive escalations
• Own creator-facing initiatives related to policy compliance
• Influence technology investments to detect and prevent risk to the Creators business
• Plan and manage multiple parallel projects
About the team
The Creator team’s mission is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce creators and their content. We own the Associates and Influencer programs and brands across Amazon to ensure a cohesive experience, expand creators’ opportunities to earn through innovation, and launch experiences that reinforce feelings of achievement for creators. In partnership with Creators, the Trust, Safety, and Support (TSS) team strives to improve the Amazon customer and creator experiences by identifying and implementing policy changes and investigating violations among our community. TSS is focused on four functions: Application Review, Influencer Moderation, Creator Content Annotations, and Fraud Investigations.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience working in a matrixed organization
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous environment related to policy and compliance

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
