Fashion & Fitness Tech (F2T) is looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define and build our program for managing software campaigns across North American Stores Technology (NAS Tech). This role acts as the intermediary between NAS Tech builders and campaign owners to ensure campaigns are effectively managed and prioritized in accordance with business priorities.
Key job responsibilities
As a Principal TPM in F2T, you’ll be an individual contributor who defines and owns the NAS Tech campaign management program. You’ll work with central teams and campaign owners to understand non-emergent campaigns, inclusive of their requirements, impact, level of effort, and urgency; evaluate which campaigns we accept; and provide detailed feedback on rejected campaigns to campaign owners and bar raisers. You’ll own campaign rollouts to NAS Tech leaders and builders to drive understanding of the “why” behind campaigns. You’ll ensure software leaders understand campaign expectations and are aware of available resources and tooling. You’ll regularly attend central team and NAS monthly technical review meetings, host stakeholder meetings and office hours, and communicate updates to NAS builders and leaders. This role requires a deep understanding of NAS Tech systems, exemplary technical program management, high judgment, thought leadership, and a keen ability to influence without authority through effective communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management.
A day in the life
As a Principal TPM for NAS Engineering Excellence, your day will be a mix of engagements with engineers, stakeholders and central teams, as well as heads-down time for strategic planning and tactical execution. You’ll dive deep into non-emergent campaigns to understand requirements, assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
