Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world.
This individual will lead the supply chain strategy for our high value components. Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of the Memory and Storage industries, and related semiconductor supply chains, a proven ability to lead a team that program manages technology operations, and can effectively operate at any level of the organization (up to senior executives).

Key job responsibilities:
Lead a team that delivers a highly complex component qualification program.
Develop and implement cross functional supply strategies that support the component supply chain for AWS hardware infrastructure.
Understand the industry and technology trends, and uses this knowledge to innovate on behalf of our customers.
Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable technical engagements with suppliers.
Responsible for the team that provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, while owning vendor escalations in order to resolve any supply chain related issues.
Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
