The Amazon Rufus Editorial team is seeking a Senior Program Manager who is passionate about technology, innovation, and improving the customer experience. This is an opportunity to join the high-performing team behind Amazon’s new generative AI-powered shopping assistant, Rufus. Rufus makes it easy for customers to find and discover products to meet their unique needs by helping with product research, providing comparisons and recommendations, answering specific product questions, and more. This role is inherently high-visibility and highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration and influence across product, design, science, and engineering.

* Lead key projects for large, complex editorial workstreams, identifying, assessing, and prioritizing opportunities based on strategic goals, business needs, and customer value
* Consult with key partners to determine program prioritization, while sourcing and coordinating resources
* Proactively monitor progress against goals while anticipating and mitigating risks, creating and owning solutions, and successfully resolving issues
* Act as a subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge to guide the establishment of new processes and systems
* Lead data analysis, reporting, building efficient processes, influence roadmaps and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to meet the org goals.

This role will require excellent written and oral communication skills, data-driven analyses and insights, exceptional judgment, strong interpersonal skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for serving customers.

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- 1. Ability to work in cross-functional teams across geographies and set up review mechanisms and SLAs for resolution
- 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- 3. 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in e-commerce or AI/ML-related fields.
- 4. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, particularly in natural language processing and conversational AI.
- 5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
