We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will partner with product and technical teams across Kindle Content & Physical Books to disrupt societal biases, delight marginalized customers, and advance Product Inclusion.

This position requires excellent instincts on customer experience, technical acumen, and the ability to drive change and innovation. The ideal candidate thrives when solving ambiguous problems, dives into the technical details while thinking big about new opportunities, and influences effectively with cross-functional colleagues around the world up to a VP level. Candidates should have a track record not only of continuous learning on interrupting societal biases through a global lens, but of turning those learnings into action to delight customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Defining what it means to succeed at DEI in product, in ways that are practical, relevant, and clear to both business and technical teams
- Diving deep with tech teams across Kindle Content and Physical Books, using both your subject matter knowledge and technical skillsets to quickly solve problems and build their capability to deliver independently
- Identifying opportunities and implementing techniques to disrupt unconscious biases in our technology
- Designing scalable solutions to delight marginalized customers by identifying and building technical solutions to disrupt societal biases

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
